I am trying to install HPing2 on windows and seem to be having trouble. I downloaded the file from (win32) and when I extract the contents and run the exe a cmd prompt pops up quickly and disappears.I am new to these programs but I doubt that's what is supposed to happen.

Try starting your computer in the safe mode, you have to press CTRL after you choose the OS you want to Boot into. If nothing works out try to format your hard drive and start right from the begining, copy all your data to some backup if you have the data. Also if i was at your place i would remove all the partitions on my hard drive if they are start right from scratch. But things change if you have two OS on your comp. Sheena Easton Fabulous Rarity.
